The application for registration must be filed with a digital signature/Aadhar e-signature after the registration-related papers have been uploaded. The authorized signatory will be notified of the receipt of the same.Within three working days, the competent officer must either raise an inquiry or authorize the grant of registration; otherwise, registration will be regarded as granted. Starting on the fourth day after filing the original application, the applicant must answer within seven working days. The Goods and Services Identifying Number (GSTIN) is a 15-digit identification number based on the PAN.

Step by step procedure of GST Registration in Kerala

Following are the steps to follow for getting GST Registration in Kerala- 

Step 1: Taxpayers must first go to the government GST Registration Portal.

Step 2: Select “Services > Registration > New Registration” from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: There are two components to the application form: Part A and Part B.

Step 4: The New Registration page appears in Part A. Choose the option for new registration.

Step 5: Select Taxpayer as the sort of taxpayer to be registered in  I am a drop-down list, as well as the state and district for which registration is necessary.

Step 6: Enter your company’s legal name as it appears in the PAN database, and then choose “Kerala[1]” as your state, and then “Kerala State” as your district.

Step 7: Enter your email address and the Primary Authorized Signatory’s genuine Indian cell phone number.

Step 8: Enter the captcha text in the type the characters you see in the image below area and click the “Proceed Button” button.

Step 9: You’ll see the OTP Verification page. Enter the OTP you got on your mobile number in the Mobile OTP field. The OTP is only valid for 10 minutes. Enter the OTP you got on your email address in the Email OTP area. The OTP is only valid for 10 minutes, so press the PROCEED button.

Step 10: The Temporary Reference Number (TRN) produced by the system appears on your screen…

GST Registration Part B

Step 11: Use the “Temporary Reference Number” and Captcha Code to log in again…

Step 12: The page My Saved Application appears. Click the Edit icon in the Action column (icon in Blue Square with white pen).

Step 13: The Registration Application form appears, complete with several tabs.

Step 14: Business Details, Promoter/ Partners, Authorized Signatory, Authorized Representative, Principal Place of Business, Additional Places of Business, Goods and Services, Bank Accounts, State Specific Information, and Verification are the 10 tabs at the top of the page. To fill out the details, click each tab.

Step 15: Fill in the details of your primary business location.

Step 17: Fill up the bank account information and submit the document.

Step 18: The details of the verification for authentication of the details supplied in the form are displayed on this tab page.

Note: You must digitally sign the enrolment application after filling it out using a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC), E-Signature, or EVC. In the case of LLPs and corporations, digital signatures utilizing DSC are required.To save the changed information and documents, click the SUBMIT button.

Step 19: Select Next (Note: Make sure your DSC dongle is plugged into your laptop/desktop).

Step 20: In the pop-up box, click Sign.

Step 21: Click the View Certificate button to see the details of your DSC.

Step 22: If the submission is successful, a notification will appear on the screen.

THE SUCCESS MESSAGE HAS BEEN DISPLAYED. In the following 15 minutes, you will receive an acknowledgment of your registered e-mail address and cell phone number. Your e-mail address and mobile phone number will get an Application Reference Number (ARN) receipt.
